OBDwiki isn't ready yet
We're building a site that reads your fault codes together and tells you, in plain English, what is actually wrong with your car. It isn't finished, so we've taken it down rather than let anyone rely on it.
Why it's down
We tested it with a real set of thirteen codes from a Ford owners' club and it recognised none of them. Measured properly, it currently knows about a quarter of the standard fault codes a reader can report.
A tool that silently knows nothing about your car is worse than no tool at all, because you cannot tell the difference. So it stays down until the coverage is measured and good.
What happens next
We're loading every standard fault code from independent sources and checking them against each other, then testing every code against every car we support — including with no car selected. The pass rate is measured every night.
When it is good enough to trust, this page will be the site again.
